Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
The short version: we collect your name, your email and, if you choose, your phone number so we can tell you when benjis.ai launches and keep you updated afterwards. We don't sell your information. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time.
About this policy
This policy explains how benjis.ai ("we", "us") handles information collected through our waitlist page.
What we collect
Information you give us when you join the waitlist:
- Your name and email address (required).
- Your phone number, including area code (optional).
Information collected automatically: when you sign up we record the date and time and the page you signed up from. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type. Our page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
Our waitlist page doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To keep your place on the waitlist.
- To email you about the launch of benjis.ai, early access, and product news and offers afterwards.
- If you gave us your phone number, to send you text messages about our launch and product updates (see below).
- To reply to you if you contact us.
- To keep our waitlist secure and prevent spam or abuse.
Text messages
Giving us your phone number is optional and isn't required to join the waitlist. If you do, you agree that benjis.ai may send you automated text messages about our launch and product updates. We'll only text you occasionally, and there's no cost to you from us.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
We will not share or sell your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
How we share it
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We only share it:
- With service providers who help us run the waitlist, such as our website host, email provider and text messaging provider. They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of benjis.ai, our users or others.
- If our business changes hands, for example in a merger or acquisition. Your information would stay covered by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until benjis.ai launches and for as long as you stay subscribed to our updates afterwards. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we'll remove it, except for any minimal record we need to keep to honour your opt-out or meet a legal obligation.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send.
- Stop text messages by replying STOP.
- Access, correct or delete your information by replying to any email we send you. We'll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. For example, residents of California and several other US states, and of the UK and European Economic Area, can request a copy of their data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to certain uses. Where those laws apply, we rely on your consent to process your waitlist information, and you can withdraw it at any time. You won't be treated differently for exercising any of these rights. If you're in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Do Not Track: because our waitlist page doesn't track you across other websites, it doesn't change its behaviour in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Where your information is stored
We and our service providers may store and process your information in the United States or other countries. Where we transfer information from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law.
Children
Our waitlist is intended for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, reply to any email we've sent and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know by email before they take effect.
Questions
If you have any questions or requests about your information, reply to any email or text message we send you.
